In 2009, I just finished high school. Yay! I’m done. Now what?

Like many, I felt like I had to decide now and make sure it was the right choice. I grew up with a fixed mindset that I had to make the right choice and mistakes were not okay.

I started working full time while pursuing an apprenticeship in power engineering. I enjoy the work and it has provided me with many benefits along the way. I am currently still in this field and I am blessed in having this opportunity.

As time passed, I had a burning desire in my heart that I was created to do more with my life. I realized that I had many flaws to work on in my life. My health was good, but not great. I would eat whatever whenever. My relationships were okay but I always focused on my problems rather than others. My spiritual life was struggling, knowing that I should have a deeper connection with God.

I wanted to change.

I wanted to be in great overall health, not just be ignorant of the body that I was given. Consistently research the best health practices to always know that I did what I could to lead a healthy lifestyle.

I wanted to establish deep and meaningful connections with my friends and family. Taking the focus off myself, and focusing on others in need. Learning to love your neighbor as yourself.

I wanted to become the person that God has designed me to be. I decided I wanted to live life to the potential that God has put in me and have a deep connection with my creator.

“Your mind is a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowersor you can grow weeds.”

I absolutely love this quote. Over the years I have been trying to pull the weeds out of my mind and plant the right seeds. I have taken many courses, listened to books, tried and tested many things to find how I can make progress in my life.

I created Shape Your Happiness as a resource for anyone who wants to improve their situation. My mission is to create the best content and help as many people as I can.

God Bless!
